In 2020 the global marketing campaign will market the Villages to a global audience directly and through travel trade partnerships, in worldwide fashion and lifestyle media, strategic PR, exclusive press events, online and offline marketing, and on digital and social media platforms.
Through the global campaign, the Villages are defined as luxury and fashion shopping destinations for tourists, attracting guests from all corners of the world.
Since 2006, The Bicester Village Shopping Collection has achieved unbroken year-on-year growth in tax-refunded (non-EU) sales.
A First for the Retail Sector
In recognition of its success as a Collection of shopping tourism destinations, in 2012 Value Retail was officially accepted as an Affiliate Member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, a first for the retail sector.
